I hand built this house from a flat sheet of copper. It is acid etched with a poppy on the back. The inside of the house has red striped paper with a hand drawn hot air balloon and the basket is a vintage brass charm (the hot air balloon that Dorothy & the Wizard of Oz leave Oz in). Inside has a vintage plastic show charm that I glittered red (Dorothy’s ruby red shoes),and a vintage brass wand (Glenda’s wand). The beads in the chain each represent some part of the story, the silver beads for the Tin Man, yellow for the yellow brick road & the Cowardly Lion, green for the wicked witch, blue for Dorothy’s dress, and the striped beads for OZ.
